History

PPH “Rysiek” is a family company founded in 1992 by Ryszard Gruszka and Sławomir Pokwap. Initially, the company dealt only with the slaughter of animals, mainly cattle and calves and all operations performed, only owners.

In 1997, the owners were Bozena and Slawomir Pokwap.

The following years were a period of rapid growth, which resulted in the need to employ staff and expand the business of butchering meat. Since the company’s owners have laid great emphasis on hygiene and quality of production. The plant in Żelisławicach went through a series of changes associated with modernization Polish accession to the European Union, and thus the adaptation of the plant to the existing European standards and obtaining a permit to trade within the European Union. Since 2004, production is carried out in accordance with the principles of HACCP.

Further the company’s operations and increase production contributed to the purchase of land for the new plant. In August 2010, butchering meat was moved to a modern and fully equipped with cutting plant in Myszków. The company “Rysiek” meets all the requirements of veterinary and has implemented the HACCP system. In 2010. Proceeded to the “Caring for Nature”, created by the Polish Recycling System Recovery Organization SA. This program is evidence of the involvement of businesses in the broader mission, which aims to protect the environment. By 2014, the company invested in a computer system for the exchange of more modern, which allows you to maintain the correct traceability. The company’s production is maintained at a very high level, as evidenced in 2014 obtained the BRC certificate.

Hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) is a systematic preventive approach to food safety from biological, chemical, and physical hazards in production processes that can cause the finished product to be unsafe, and designs measurements to reduce this risk to a safe level.

The HACCP system can be used at all stages of a food chain, from food production and preparation processes including packaging, distribution, etc.

PPH “Rysiek” produces in accordance with HACCP since 2004.

The Care for Nature

The Care for Nature

“The Care for Nature” is a commitment Polish Recycling System Recovery Organization Packaging SA (PSR) aimed to carry out activities that result in the elimination of the harmful effects of packaging waste and spent on the environment.

The aim of the program is to seek to minimize environmental pollution at every stage of production activities, operation and management of waste, ie .:

delivering products with minimal environmental impact,
the search for non-waste production technology,
support and develop economic initiatives that contribute to improving the environment.
All these activities combined mark “In Care for Nature”, which is a visual confirmation of participation in the program of the same name.

BRC certified quality management

BRC is an international standard (Global Standard), developed by the British Retail Consortium (British Retail Consortium) required by a growing group of hyper- and supermarkets across Europe. Standard was developed to provide the highest quality of products supplied.

Union of Producers and Employers of Meat Industry is the employers’ association which brings together entities in the meat industry. Association was created by the persons concerned with good Polish meat industry and agriculture.
